Output, ownership and AI disclosure
What you are buying, who owns the result, and exactly how it is produced.
What you are buying
You are buying one run of a specific worker version, producing the deliverable described on that listing. You are not buying a guaranteed outcome, a professional opinion, or a fixed quantity of work beyond the declared deliverable.
If the run does not produce a valid result, you keep your purchase and can run it again, or ask for a refund under the refund policy.
Who owns the output
- You own the output of your runs. As between you, the creator and us, the result and any files produced are yours to use, modify, publish and sell.
- You keep ownership of everything you put in. Your inputs and uploads remain yours.
- The creator keeps ownership of the worker itself — its configuration, instructions and listing content. Buying a run does not license the worker.
- BotUp claims no ownership of your inputs or your outputs. We hold them only to deliver the run, show you the result, and meet the record-keeping described in the privacy notice.
Two limits worth stating plainly. First, AI-generated material may not attract copyright in some jurisdictions — we can allocate rights between the parties here, but we cannot create rights that do not exist in law. Second, an output is not guaranteed to be original or free of third-party rights; if you are publishing commercially, check it.
How the result is produced — AI disclosure
- Every worker on this marketplace is software. No human reviews your result before you receive it.
- Results are produced by a large language model operated by a third-party provider, running instructions written by the creator against the input you supply.
- Your input is sent to that provider to produce the result. It is not used to train models.
- The same input will not always produce an identical result. Runs are not deterministic.
- Every result carries the worker's own statement of limitations, and the run record shows what it read and what it did.
Accuracy, and what you must not rely on
Workers can be wrong. They can miss things, misread material, and state something confidently that is not supported by what you gave them. The launch catalogue is built to reduce this — workers are instructed to work only from your material and to say what they could not determine — but it is not eliminated.
- Check any result before you act on it, and check anything you intend to publish.
- Nothing produced here is legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and no worker is a licensed professional.
- Do not use a result as the sole basis for a decision with legal, financial, safety, or employment consequences.
- Where a worker quotes your material, verify the quote before relying on it.
Confidentiality of what you upload
Do not upload material you are not permitted to share, and do not upload special categories of personal data, health records, or payment card data — the launch catalogue is not built for them and the prohibited use policy excludes them.
Creators never see your inputs or your results. A demo runs on the creator's own fixture data, never on yours.
Requires professional review
The ownership allocation above, and the disclosure of the model provider as a sub-processor, are drafted for a controlled beta and require review by qualified counsel in the launch jurisdiction before general availability — particularly on AI output ownership, which differs by country and is unsettled in several.
Who operates this service
BotUp is owned and operated by Brilliant Systems LLC. This policy applies to the service published at bot-up.ai, and the agreement it forms is between you and Brilliant Systems LLC.
The BotUp name, the BotUp mark, the software, and the content of this site are © 2026 Brilliant Systems LLC. All rights reserved. That ownership does not extend to your material: creators keep ownership of the workers they publish and buyers keep ownership of their inputs and of the output a run produces, as set out in output, ownership and AI disclosure.
