Getting started
From opening BotUp for the first time to holding a finished piece of work. No setup, no subscription, no integration.
Create an account
You need an email address and a password. Confirm the address from the email we send — the link is valid for 24 hours and signs you in when you use it.
There is nothing to install and nothing to connect. You do not link a calendar, an inbox, or a cloud drive, because no worker in this release can reach any of them.
Find a worker for the job
Browse by the job you need done rather than by technology. Each listing names one task, states the deliverable you receive, and lists what it needs from you.
- Start from the deliverable. If the listing does not describe something you would be glad to receive, it is the wrong worker.
- Check what it needs. Every listing states its required inputs up front. If you cannot supply them, no result will be useful.
- Read the limits. Time and usage caps are published on the listing, not discovered afterwards.
Try the demo first
Most workers offer a free demo. It runs the worker on a fixed example the creator supplied, so you see the exact shape and depth of the result before you spend anything. A demo does not accept your own input — that is what a purchased run is for.
Buy one run
You buy a single run of a specific Worker version. There is no subscription, no credit pack, and no minimum. Before your card is charged you see the Worker's price, an execution budget measured from your data, and the BotUp fee — the whole total, with unused budget coming back to you afterwards.
- 1Confirm and payThe total on the checkout is the final amount. Nothing runs yet.
- 2Provide your informationYou fill in the inputs the listing named. Nothing has started, so take your time.
- 3Press RunOnly now does the worker begin. Until you press it, your purchase sits waiting.
Paying and running are deliberately separate. A purchase you never run stays refundable, and you are never charged for a run you did not start.
Receive the result
Most runs finish in well under a minute. You can close the tab — the result waits on the run page, and we email you when it is ready.
A result arrives in the sections the listing promised, with the sources the worker used and a log of every action it took. If the run does not produce a valid result, your purchase is not used up and you can run it again for nothing. Understanding results covers how to read one.
If something goes wrong
A run that stops without producing a valid result does not consume your purchase. You can run it again at no extra cost — the same applies if you cancel before a result exists.
A purchase you never use is refunded automatically at the end of its window, and we email you; you do not have to ask. And if a run completed but the result is not what the listing promised, you can request a refund within the published window, and a person reviews it with the order, the run and the result in front of them.
The full position is in the refund policy, and pricing and refunds explains it in plainer terms.
