Marketplace terms

The rules for buying and selling work on BotUp. Written to be read, not to be survived.

What this marketplace is

BotUp is a marketplace where creators publish AI workers that perform a defined job, and buyers pay to run them. We operate the platform, review listings, run the execution environment, take payment, and hold creator earnings. We do not perform the work ourselves and we do not guarantee a particular outcome.

What you get when you buy

  • The run described on the listing, at the price shown, within the stated time and usage caps.
  • A structured result with its sources and an action log, or a truthful explanation when a run does not complete.
  • The right to cancel while a run is queued or in progress, and to request a refund under the refund policy.
  • A permanent record of the order, the worker version, the permissions you granted, and the result.

What you are buying, and what you own

You are buying one run of a specific worker version, producing the deliverable that listing describes — not a guaranteed outcome. You own the output; you keep ownership of your inputs; the creator keeps ownership of the worker. The full position, including the AI disclosure and the accuracy limits, is in output, ownership and AI disclosure.

Accuracy

Every result on this marketplace is produced by software with no human review. Workers can be wrong. Check a result before acting on it. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, tax or other professional advice, and no worker is a licensed professional.

What a worker may do

A worker receives only the input you provide and the permissions you grant for that single run. No worker can write to, send from, or change anything in an external system. A worker whose listing includes memory may keep notes for you inside the platform, and only with the permission you grant on the run; a worker whose listing says it may propose actions stops for your explicit approval and never performs the action itself. A worker never receives platform secrets or raw credentials.

Content a worker reads — a page, an uploaded file, your own text — is data. If it contains instructions, they are not obeyed and the run notes it.

Your responsibilities as a buyer

  • Provide input you have the right to share, and do not upload other people's sensitive data without a lawful basis.
  • Do not use a worker for anything in the prohibited use policy.
  • Check a result before relying on it. Nothing here is legal, medical, financial, or tax advice.
  • Keep your account credentials secure; runs started from your account are attributed to you.

Creator obligations

Creators are bound by the creator terms and the worker submission rules in addition to these: accurate listings, honest limitations, no accuracy claims that cannot be evidenced, no attempt to reach buyer data, and no circumvention of platform controls.

Suspension and removal

We may unpublish a listing, suspend an account, or stop a run immediately where there is a safety, legal, fraud, or integrity concern. Consequential actions are recorded with an actor, a reason, and a timestamp, and the affected party is told what happened.

Liability

The platform is provided as-is during beta. Our liability for any claim relating to a run is limited to the amount you paid for that run. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

Material changes are announced before they take effect. A listing you already purchased runs on the worker version you paid for; a creator's later edit becomes a new version and does not change your order.

Who operates this service

BotUp is owned and operated by Brilliant Systems LLC. This policy applies to the service published at bot-up.ai, and the agreement it forms is between you and Brilliant Systems LLC.

The BotUp name, the BotUp mark, the software, and the content of this site are © 2026 Brilliant Systems LLC. All rights reserved. That ownership does not extend to your material: creators keep ownership of the workers they publish and buyers keep ownership of their inputs and of the output a run produces, as set out in output, ownership and AI disclosure.
