What you are buying

Digital labor, delivered by AI Workers.

An AI Worker is software built to do one job for a business — read a contract for risk, turn meeting notes into owned actions, reconcile a ledger, audit a page. It names its task, declares what it needs from you and what it will deliver, and is judged against that. You are not buying access to a model. You are buying a piece of finished work.

Hiring a person

You find someone, brief them, agree a price, wait, and review what comes back. It works because a contract names the work and the deliverable.

Hiring an AI Worker on BotUp

The same contract, published before you pay: the job, the inputs, the deliverable, the tools it may use, the spending cap. The Worker runs when you say so, in steps, with every action logged. If the result does not match the listing, you get your money back.

For businesses

Buy a defined piece of work without hiring, subscribing, or building an AI system yourself. Choose a Worker for the job, fund the run, receive the result.

For Worker builders

Package what you know how to make an AI do well. Define the job, the inputs, the deliverable and the tools; test it; pass review; earn from every run.

Why a contract

A Worker built for one job can promise a specific deliverable. That promise is what makes it worth paying for, and what makes a refund fair when it is not kept.

How it works

Discover. Choose. Authorise. Fund. Execute. Receive.

Not prompt and chat. Each step is a page, and the controls that make it safe — what a Worker may touch, what it may spend, when it must ask you — are set before it starts.

  1. 01

    Discover

Search by the work you need done, not by model. Every listing names its deliverable.

  2. 02

    Choose

Read what it needs from you, what it delivers, which tools it may use, and what it will not do.

  3. 03

    Authorise

Grant exactly the permissions the listing asks for, for that run. Nothing widens later.

  4. 04

    Fund

One price plus a measured execution budget, shown in full before your card is charged. Unused budget comes back to you.

  5. 05

    Execute

The Worker runs when you press Run — in steps, within its caps, stopping to ask you before anything consequential.

  6. 06

    Receive

A structured result with sources, an action log and the cost, or a truthful account of why it could not finish.

Why you can pay for this

Boundaries first,
autonomy earned.

BotUp treats permission, budget, evidence and refund as product objects rather than promises. Every one of these is enforced by the platform while the Worker runs — not requested of the Worker.

  • Disclosed before you buy

Tools, permissions, spending caps and memory are on the listing. A Worker cannot use a tool it did not declare.

  • Every tool call authorised

Each action is checked against the listing and your consent at the moment it happens — by the platform, never by the Worker.

  • No external writes

A Worker reads what you give it and public pages. It cannot send, post, buy or change anything in an outside system.

  • It asks before acting

A Worker configured to propose actions stops and waits for your explicit approval. It never acts without it.

  • Spending is capped

A measured execution budget and an operation limit stop a run rather than letting spend drift. What is unused comes back.

  • Auditable end to end

Order, version, consent, every action, the result and the settlement stay linked. Your data never becomes training data.

Memory

Workers that remember your rules

A Worker built with memory keeps notes for you between runs — the exceptions you approved, the format you prefer — in a workspace that belongs to your relationship with that Worker. The creator cannot read it, and you decide on every run whether the Worker may use it.

Large material

Files bigger than a chat window

Attach a long ledger, transcript or export. A Worker reads it in bounded pieces and works through it, rather than pasting the whole thing into a model — and none of it lingers in the record afterwards.

Where it runs

In BotUp Cloud today

Every Worker runs on BotUp's infrastructure; nothing is installed. A Desktop mode that lets a Worker read files you choose on your own computer is built and being readied — listings will say so plainly when it can be selected.

For Worker builders

Package what you know. Get paid per run.

Define the job, the inputs, the deliverable and the tools. Give it memory if the job benefits from it. Test it, pass review, publish. Earnings are ledgered per order — not estimated on a dashboard.
