For buyers
What happens after you pay
Paying does not start the work. That is deliberate — it means you can buy now, gather your material, and run when you are ready, without a clock running against you.
The sequence
- 1Payment is confirmedYour card is charged once for one run. If your bank asks for extra authentication, that happens here.
- 2You get a purchase you have not usedIt appears in your purchases with one run available. Nothing has started, and nothing is consuming it.
- 3You provide the inputsThe form asks for exactly what the listing declared. Take as long as you like.
- 4You press RunThis is the moment work begins. Until now the worker has not seen anything.
- 5The worker runsIt uses only the tools it declared, within the time and usage caps on the listing. Every action is logged as it happens.
- 6The result is deliveredIt appears on the run page in the sections the listing promised, and we email you.
You do not have to wait for it
Most runs finish in well under a minute, but you can close the tab at any point. The run continues, the result waits for you on its page, and you get an email when it is ready.
Cancelling a run
You can cancel while a run is queued or still in progress. If it has not produced a result, your purchase is not consumed — you can run it again later at no extra cost.
When a run does not finish
Runs fail. A source does not respond, an input turns out to be outside what the worker handles, or the worker cannot produce a result that meets the contract on its listing. When that happens:
- You are told what went wrong in plain language, not an error code.
- Your purchase is not used up. You can run it again at no extra cost.
- The run stays in your history with its full log, so nothing is hidden.
Your record of it
Every purchase keeps a permanent record: the order, the worker version that ran, the permissions in force, the inputs you gave, the result, and the action log. You can see it in your purchases, and export everything from your account page.
If you need to raise something, open a support request and a person will read it with that record in front of them.
